Guntha (1/40 acre), cent (1/100 acre) and kanal (1/8 acre) are taken as fixed fractions of an acre. Local usage can differ, so confirm with the record.
Some land records give area in hectares and ares. One are is 100 m², or 0.01 ha, and is not a separate unit here: 2 ha 50 are is 2.5 ha.
