About Visiting Card QR Code Generator

Put a QR code on your visiting card that saves your contact details to a phone in one scan. Fill in your name, company, job title, phone, email, website and address, and the code holds them as a standard vCard. When someone scans it, their phone shows your details with an option to add them to contacts, so nobody has to type your number. Add your logo and colours, download PNG or SVG for printing, and reuse it on email signatures and posters.

How to Use

1

Fill in your details

The Contact tab is already selected. Enter a First name or Last name (at least one is needed), then any of Company, Job title, Phone, Email, Website and Address. Leave out anything you do not want to share.

2

Write the phone number in full

Type the number with its country code, such as +91 98765 43210, so it dials correctly from any phone. Spaces, dashes and brackets are removed in the code.

3

Style it to match your card

Pick colours and shapes under Style and add your logo under "Logo & advanced". Keep the code dark on a light background so it scans easily.

4

Download for print and test

Choose 2048px in Download size and click SVG or Download PNG. Print a test card and scan it before ordering the full batch.

Privacy & Processing

  • Mode: local
  • Files Leave Browser: Local tool processing; review details below
  • Max Input Size: Device memory limits
  • Account Required: No
  • Data Stored Locally: Nothing is saved. Download your code before leaving the page.
  • Network Processing: Assets or models may require an initial download

The QR code is made in your browser. Your contact details are never sent to a server.

Rules & Limitations

  • The code holds one phone number, one email and one address. The address goes into a single line, so write it in the order you want it shown.
  • The more you fill in, the denser the code. On a small visiting card, leave out fields you do not need so it scans reliably at that size.
  • The details are fixed in the code. If your number or job changes, make and print a new code.
  • If you enter an email, the code is not ready until it looks like a full address, such as name@example.com.

Visiting Card QR Code Generator FAQ

How do I make a QR code for my visiting card?

Enter your name, phone, email and the other details you want, then click Download PNG, or SVG for the printer. When people scan the code, their phone offers to save you as a contact.

What happens when someone scans a vCard QR code?

Their phone reads the contact card and shows your name, number and other details with a button to add them to contacts. On most iPhones and Android phones this works from the camera app. Nothing is saved until they choose to.

Which details are saved from the QR code?

First and last name, company, job title, one mobile number, email, website and address, whichever you fill in. Empty fields are left out of the code.

How big should the QR code be on a visiting card?

Make it as large as the design allows and keep a clear margin around it. Fill in fewer fields for a simpler code, and test the printed card with a couple of phones before ordering many.

Can I add a photo to the contact QR code?

No. A photo is too big to fit in a QR code, so the contact is saved without one. You can put your logo in the middle of the code instead; it shows on the printed code, not in the saved contact.
