About WhatsApp QR Code Generator

Make a QR code that opens a WhatsApp chat with your number when someone scans it, so customers can message you without saving your number first. You can add a ready-typed message, such as "Hi, I want to place an order", which appears in their chat box to send or edit. The code holds a standard wa.me link, works with WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business numbers, and never expires. Add your logo and colours, then print it or share it.

How to Use

1

Enter your WhatsApp number

Type the number with its country code in WhatsApp number, for example 91 98765 43210 for India. Spaces, dashes and a leading + are fine. The WhatsApp tab is already selected; the other tabs make link, Call, SMS and other codes.

2

Add a message if you like

Type a Pre-filled message, such as "Hi, I saw your menu". It appears in the customer's chat box ready to send. Leave it empty for a blank chat.

3

Style it

Pick colours and shapes under Style and add your logo under "Logo & advanced". A warning appears if the colours may be hard to scan.

4

Download and test

Choose a Download size and click Download PNG, or SVG for print. Scan it with a phone to check that the right chat opens.

Privacy & Processing

  • Mode: local
  • Files Leave Browser: Local tool processing; review details below
  • Max Input Size: Device memory limits
  • Account Required: No
  • Data Stored Locally: Nothing is saved. Download your code before leaving the page.
  • Network Processing: Assets or models may require an initial download

The QR code is made in your browser. Your number and message are never sent to a server.

Rules & Limitations

  • Always include the country code. A 10-digit Indian number typed without 91 is accepted, but WhatsApp reads its first digits as a country code and opens the wrong chat or none. Do not add a leading 0.
  • The message is only filled in: nothing is sent until the person taps Send, and they can change it first.
  • The code is static. If your number changes, make a new code.
  • Your number is visible to anyone who scans the code.

Top Suggestions

  • A "chat with us" code on visiting cards, flyers and shop windows
  • Appointment bookings for clinics, salons and tutors

WhatsApp QR Code Generator FAQ

How do I create a WhatsApp QR code for my business?

Enter your business number with the country code, such as 91 98765 43210, add a Pre-filled message like "Hi, I would like to order", add your logo under "Logo & advanced" and click Download PNG. It works with WhatsApp Business numbers as well as personal ones.

How do I add a message to a WhatsApp QR code?

Type it in Pre-filled message. When someone scans the code, WhatsApp opens your chat with that text already in the message box. They can edit it before sending.

Why does my WhatsApp QR code open the wrong number?

The country code is probably missing. WhatsApp reads the first digits as the country, so an Indian number must start with 91, written as 91 98765 43210 or +91 98765 43210, without a leading 0.

What happens if the person does not have WhatsApp?

The code opens a wa.me web link. Without the app, it opens in the browser, where WhatsApp offers to install the app or continue on the web.

Do WhatsApp QR codes expire?

No. The wa.me link with your number is stored in the code itself, so it keeps working without ToolKit360 or any subscription for as long as the number is on WhatsApp.
