Rules & Limitations

Instagram compresses photos again when you post, so very small details may soften whatever size you upload.
A photo smaller than 1080 px on its short side is enlarged and may look soft; the Result warns when this happens.
Only the square post size has a preset. For a 4:5 portrait post, type 1080 × 1350 in Width and Height.

A square post is 1080 × 1080 px, which this page makes. Instagram also shows portrait posts at 1080 × 1350 px (4:5); type that size in Width and Height to make one.

How do I post a full photo on Instagram without cropping?
