SSC Photo Resizer FAQ
What is the SSC photo size in pixels and KB?
The preset uses 3.5 × 4.5 cm (width × height), which at 200 DPI is 276 × 354 px, as a JPG of 20–50 KB. Check the notice for your exam, as SSC has changed its photo rules before.
How do I resize my photo to 20–50 KB for SSC?
Add your photo on this page; the SSC preset already sets 20–50 KB. The tool picks a JPG quality that lands in the range, and the Result shows "Within 20–50 KB". Then click Download.
Does SSC still accept an uploaded photo?
It depends on the exam and year. Recent SSC applications have used live photo capture through a webcam or phone camera instead of an upload. If your notice asks for an uploaded photo, use this page; if it asks for live capture, sit in good light against a plain wall.
Can I use the same photo for IBPS, SBI or UPSC?
Yes. Add the photo once and switch the Preset to "IBPS / SBI photo (200 × 230 px)" or "UPSC photo (550 × 700 px)". Each sets its own size and KB range, so download a separate file for each form.
How do I resize my signature for SSC?
Switch the Preset to "SSC signature (4 × 2 cm)", which sets 4 × 2 cm, JPG and 10–20 KB, then add a picture of your signature in black ink on white paper and crop it tightly.
