About Extract PDF Pages

Save only the pages you need from a PDF as a new, smaller PDF. Type the pages to keep, such as 1-3, 5 or 8-end, and they are copied into a new file while your original stays as it is. Pages keep their quality, and the same list can be applied to several PDFs at once. The pages always come out in their original order, whatever order you type them in.

How to Use

1

Add your PDF

Drop one or more PDFs on the page, paste them with Ctrl+V, or click Choose PDFs. The number of pages shows under each file name.

2

List the pages to keep

In Pages to keep, type page numbers and ranges separated by commas, such as 1-3, 5, 8-end. "end" stands for the last page.

3

Extract and download

Press Extract pages. The new PDF is named after the pages you kept, such as report-page-1-3_5.pdf; click Download to save it.

Extract PDF Pages FAQ

How do I extract pages from a PDF?

Add the PDF, type the pages you want in Pages to keep, for example 2-4, 7, and press Extract pages. Download the new PDF, which holds only those pages.

What is the difference between extracting and splitting a PDF?

Extract pages saves the pages you choose together in one new PDF. Split pages saves every page as a separate PDF, bundled in a ZIP.

Can I extract pages in a different order, such as 5, 1, 2?

No, the pages are always saved in their original order, so 5, 1, 2 gives pages 1, 2 and 5. Extract them first, then rearrange the result in Organize pages.

How do I save just one page of a PDF?

Type that page's number in Pages to keep, for example 4, and press Extract pages. You get a one-page PDF named like report-page-4.pdf.

Does extracting pages change my original PDF?

No. Your original file is only read, never changed. The pages you choose are copied into a new PDF that you download separately.
