About Organize PDF Pages

Rearrange the pages of a PDF by dragging thumbnails into a new order, turn the pages that are sideways, and delete the ones you do not need, all on one screen. Nothing is saved until you press Download PDF, and Reset brings back the original order. Pages are copied as they are, so their quality does not change. It works on one PDF at a time; to bring pages from several PDFs together, merge them first.

How to Use

1

Add your PDF

Drop a PDF on the page, paste it with Ctrl+V, or click Choose PDFs. A thumbnail of every page appears. If you add several, choose one in PDF to work on.

2

Rearrange the pages

Drag a page thumbnail to a new place. Or click pages to select them and use Move earlier or Move later to shift them one place at a time.

3

Rotate or delete pages

Select pages, then press Rotate (shown as Rotate 2 selected, for example) to turn them 90° clockwise or Delete to remove them. With nothing selected, Rotate all turns every page. Reset undoes all changes.

4

Download the PDF

Press Download PDF to save the new file, named like report-organized.pdf. Your original file is not changed.

Rules & Limitations

  • One PDF at a time. To combine pages from different PDFs, merge them first, add the merged file to your files and organize that.
  • Each rotation is 90° clockwise; press again for 180° or 270°. You cannot add blank pages or duplicate a page here.
  • PDFs that need a password or are encrypted cannot be organized. Up to 100 MB; a PDF with hundreds of pages takes a while to show all its thumbnails, especially on phones.
  • Bookmarks from the original PDF are not kept in the new file.

Organize PDF Pages FAQ

How do I rearrange pages in a PDF?

Add the PDF and wait for the page thumbnails. Drag each page to where it should go, or select pages and use Move earlier and Move later, then press Download PDF.

Can I move several pages at once?

Yes. Click each page you want to move so it is ticked, then press Move earlier or Move later. The selected pages move together, one place per press.

How do I undo a mistake while organizing pages?

Press Reset to bring back every page in its original order and rotation. There is no step-by-step undo, but nothing is saved until you press Download PDF.

Can I organize PDF pages with the keyboard?

Yes. The arrow keys move between pages, Space selects one, Enter picks a page up so the arrows move it (Enter again drops it), R rotates and Delete removes it. Ctrl+A selects every page.

Can I put pages from two PDFs together?

Not directly, as this tool edits one PDF at a time. Merge the PDFs with Merge PDFs, click the add-to-files button next to the result, then organize the merged file here.
