About PDF to JPG

Save every page of a PDF as a JPG image. JPG files are small and accepted almost everywhere, so they suit upload forms, WhatsApp and email. Each page is drawn 1240 pixels wide, about 150 DPI for an A4 page, and named like report-page-01.jpg; a PDF with several pages downloads as one ZIP. JPEG is already selected, and you can switch to PNG for the sharpest text. Several PDFs can be converted in one go, all in your browser.

How to Use

1

Add your PDF

Drop one or more PDFs on the page, paste them with Ctrl+V, or click Choose PDFs.

2

Check the format

JPEG is already selected under Format. Switch to PNG only if you need perfectly sharp text and do not mind larger files.

3

Convert and download

Press Convert to images. A one-page PDF gives a single JPG; longer PDFs give a ZIP such as report-pages-jpg.zip. Open "Show the files" to save single pages.

Rules & Limitations

  • Every page is converted. To convert only some pages, save them first with Extract pages, then convert that PDF.
  • Images are always 1240 pixels wide, with the height following the page shape (1240 × 1754 for A4). There is no setting for a higher resolution or a target file size.
  • JPG is lossy, so very fine text and thin lines can look slightly soft. PNG keeps them sharp but makes bigger files.
  • Up to 100 MB per PDF. A PDF that needs a password to open cannot be converted.

PDF to JPG FAQ

How do I convert a PDF to JPG on my phone?

Open this page in your phone's browser, tap Choose PDFs and pick the file. JPEG is already selected, so tap Convert to images and then Download. A multi-page PDF downloads as a ZIP, which most phones can open in the Files app.

What resolution are the converted images?

Each image is 1240 pixels wide, which is about 150 DPI for an A4 page (1240 × 1754 pixels). That is clear on screen and fine for most uploads, but there is no option for a higher resolution.

Can I convert just one page of a PDF to JPG?

This tool converts every page, but you can save just the one you want: open "Show the files" in the result and download that image alone. Or extract the page first with Extract pages and convert only that.

When should I switch to PNG instead of JPG?

Choose PNG under Format when the page is mostly small text, diagrams or line drawings and sharpness matters more than size. For scans, photos and upload forms, JPG is smaller and usually the better choice.

Why do I get a ZIP file instead of images?

A PDF with more than one page gives one image per page, and they are bundled in a ZIP so they download together. Open "Show the files" in the result to download pages one at a time instead.

How do I make the JPG smaller for an upload limit?

This tool has no size setting. Download the JPG, then use the Image Resizer or Image Compressor to bring it under a limit such as 100 KB or 200 KB.
